Indoor ventilation study

We are inspired by the Ansys blog “One simulation can save a business.”

CDC https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/office-buildings.html suggests that ventilation should be improved. However, every room and every building is different. How can we quickly and quantitively improve indoor ventilation and how much is enough?

Our computational fluid dynamics simulations tools allows us to predict the length of time it takes to replace the air in a room with fresh/clean air. We can include any configuration of rooms, fans, filters or HVAC equipment and quickly provide a prediction of its performance.

We want to help our communities reopen safely from the Covid-19 pandemic. We want to help reopen indoor spaces including gyms, restaurants, movie theaters, doctor’s offices, dental offices, museums, libraries, schools and offices safely. Therefore, we are offering our services to anyone who wants to improve the ventilation of their space, bring people back inside safely and give you peace of mind when you do reopen your indoor space.

Model creation

Give us the dimensions of the room and we will create an accurate 3d model. This is the basis for our simulation and we can make it as simple or as detailed as you need it to be.

To reduce cost, you can create a model of the space in any tool you are comfortable with, including free CAD tools like Sketchup https://www.sketchup.com/plans-and-pricing/sketchup-free.

Ventilation equipment Modeling

We can include any number of realistic, fans, blowers, filters, vents, windows etc.

Anything that can affect the air flow can be added, moved or changed in minutes. You will see the graphics of the change in flow patterns and quantify its effect on the air quality.

Is it worth it to buy a HEPA filter or will a fan and an open window provide sufficiently safe indoor air?

Add fans, filters, air returns, windows and anything else you’d like to try. All virtually!

Clean air

Do you want to know how long it takes to clear out the air in a room? Will it take 30min or less? If you added some fans and filters, can you reduce it to 15min?

Provide confidence, safety and peace of mind to yourself, your customers, employees and partners. We want to help you quantify the benefits of your added ventilation equipment and help communities across America reopen safely.
